Even though the swell is two to three foot, the lack of any real power and the absence of any banks on the entire beach makes life very hard.
There is a little bank in front of the Dunnies, where all the Dunny hangers were frothing at this morning, but its bigger at Wanda, without there being any real quality involved. [Read more]

I am cheating, writing this Wednesday report on Tuesday, when it was one to two-foot with a few bigger ones at Wanda.
The beach still lacks a few banks, but if the tide is right and you look hard you, will find some decent (not descent) waves. [Read more]

The solid waves that have been hitting our beaches over the last week has gone and have left a small, inconsistent East swell that caught most people napping while some lucky surfers caught a couple of decent waves! [Read more]

The overnight hail storm had flattened and pockmarked the beaches and cleaned up the smaller two feet swell left over from the weekend.
You should have been here tomorrow! That’s not the normal saying I know, but you don’t have to be Nostradamus to know that Thursday, Friday are the days of predicted six to eight feet swells. [Read more]

Today’s surfing conditions are as good as near perfect for Cronulla surfers.
A new, clean, southerly swell has hit our beaches overnight bringing with it some wicked waves.
Looks can be a little deceptive though, with the waves you see being a little better than those you will catch. [Read more]

A new north easterly swell is pushing into Cronulla’s corners this morning.

A super clean three-foot north-east swell has been breaking all week,and today’s morning surfers got the best of the barrells.

A clean three to four feet southerly swell is sweeping the Cronulla beaches, trying to find some decent banks to waste its final moments of life on.
I only know this because people are telling me, I am 300km away landlocked in Canberra watching strange mountain bike people do weird things in the dirt.
