- These conditions of entry relate to the ‘St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation Telstra Phone Giveaway” competition organised by Fairfax Community Newspapers ABN 77 000 310 654 of 1 Worth Street, Chullora NSW 2190.
- By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these conditions of entry.
- Entry is open to all NSW residents except all employees and the immediate families of Fairfax Community Newspapers and all their associated advertising agencies, who are ineligible to enter.
- The Competition commences on 28th August 2010 and concludes on the 29th August 2010 at 4:00pm.
- Participants are eligible to enter by giving a donation in the provided envelope with their name, address and telephone number, then drop in the box provided to be eligible to win.
- There are 2 individual prizes to be won. 2 winners will each receive a Telstra Easy Touch Discover 2 phone. Each Telephone is valued at $384.00 (incl. GST).

- By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these conditions of entry.

- The Competition commences on 24th August 2010 at 9:00am and concludes on 29th August 2010 at 5pm.

- The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- Prizes and values are as follows: – 14 x winners will each receive a family prize letter entitling each recipient to experience The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Express Climb at certain times of the day. Each prize is valued at $672.00 (GST inclusive).

- Each prize will be issued in the form of a BridgeClimb prize letter. (1 per winner). - The level of exertion and exhilaration is dependent on the Climb experience chosen by the Climber. The experience is between 2¼ and 3½ hours depending on the climb chosen and potentially exposes participants to all weather conditions.
- All Climbers will be breath tested and must register a blood alcohol content reading of less than 0.05%. Climbers who fail this test will not be permitted to Climb and entrants will not be offered an alternate prize.

‘IT’S A BETTER DAY TO WIN!’
READER PROMOTION
- These conditions of entry relate to the ‘IT’S A BETTER DAY’ competition organised by Fairfax Community Newspapers ABN 77 000 310 654 of 1 Worth Street, Chullora NSW 2190.
- By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these conditions of entry.
- Entry is open to all NSW residents except all employees and the immediate families of Fairfax Community Newspapers and all their associated advertising agencies, who are ineligible to enter.
- The Competition commences on 22nd July 2010 at 00:1 EST and concludes on the 29th July 2010 at 24:00 or with last mail received.
- Participants must provide the following details: their name, address, and write in 25 words of less “What you like to read in your local newspaper” to be eligible to win. Entries should be sent to via post to: WIN! A Better Day, C/- Marketing Department, 1 Worth Street, Chullora NSW 2190 – Via email to: readergiveaway@fairfax.com.au – via website: www.parramattasun.com.au
- The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- There are 3 prizes to be won. Entrants must choose a prize to win: 1 x Caltex Petrol Voucher worth $200 – 1 x Exclusive Piece of UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House Icon in Crystal worth $495 – 1 x Family Hamper worth $200.
- Total Prize pool value is $895.00 (incl. GST).
- The winners will be drawn at 10:00am on Friday 30th July 2010. The draw will take place at Fairfax Community Newspapers, 1 Worth Street, Chullora NSW 2190. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.
- Entries will be selected by a panel of judges and will be determined on the creativity and wit of words only of their 25 Words or less answer. The best entries will then be drawn.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter and may potentially use the entrants’ names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.
13. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to cancellation of event or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
14. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
