TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR BRIDGECLIMB READER PROMO
- These conditions of entry relate to the ‘BridgeClimb’ Reader Promotion organised by Fairfax Community Newspapers ABN 77 000 310 654 of 1 Worth Street, Chullora NSW 2190.
- By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these conditions of entry.
- Entry is open to all NSW residents except all employees and the immediate families of Fairfax Community Newspapers and all their associated advertising agencies, who are ineligible to enter.
- The Competition commences on 24th August 2010 at 9:00am and concludes on 29th August 2010 at 5pm.
- Participants need to email their name, address and contact number to fcnnswmarketing@fairfaxmedia.com.au and tell us in 25 words or less ‘why your dad is the best dad in the world?’
- The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- Prizes and values are as follows: – 14 x winners will each receive a family prize letter entitling each recipient to experience The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Express Climb at certain times of the day. Each prize is valued at $672.00 (GST inclusive).
- Total prize pool value is $9,408.00 (GST inclusive).
- Each prize will be issued in the form of a BridgeClimb prize letter. (1 per winner). Each prize letter is valid for two adults and two children (aged 10 – 15 inclusive) and is valid for 12 months from the draw date. Recipients of a prize letter can experience The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Express Climb on a Day or Night Climb only (i.e not a Dawn Climb or Twilight Climb) between 27th September 2010 and 26th September 2011 outside exclusion periods.
- To participate in The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Express Climb, the prize letter recipient (“Climber”) must meet BridgeClimb’s standard health and safety conditions, available at http://www.bridgeclimb.com/theClimb/safety.htm. Climbers will need to take into account any medical conditions they may have that may impact on their ability to climb vertical ladders and steep slopes safely.
- Climbers must be over 10 years of age and be physically fit. All 10 to 15 year-old. Climbers must be accompanied by a paying adult Climber (or may use an adult Gift Certificate or prize letter).
- The level of exertion and exhilaration is dependent on the Climb experience chosen by the Climber. The experience is between 2¼ and 3½ hours depending on the climb chosen and potentially exposes participants to all weather conditions.
- All Climbers will be breath tested and must register a blood alcohol content reading of less than 0.05%. Climbers who fail this test will not be permitted to Climb and entrants will not be offered an alternate prize.
- Climbers must complete a declaration form and satisfy BridgeClimb’s terms of trade. These are available at: http://www.bridgeclimb.com/BridgeClimbDeclarationForm.pdf and http://www.bridgeclimb.com/terms_trade.htm.
- No other expenses will be paid by BridgeClimb Sydney.
- This is not a full list of conditions to experience The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Express Climb. It is the entrant’s responsibility to access all relevant information from BridgeClimb’s website on the page references provided above or from BridgeClimb on +61 2 8274 7777.
- The exclusion periods are between 26 December 2010 and 10 January 2011 inclusive, or during Australian school holidays or on national public holidays. Prizes cannot be varied or extended.
- Entries will be selected by a panel of judges and will be determined on the creativity and wit of words only of their 25 Words or less answer. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
- The winners will be drawn at 10.00am on 30th August 2010. The draw will take place at Fairfax Community Newspapers, 1 Worth Street, Chullora, NSW 2170. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.
- Winners will be notified by email.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter and may potentially use the entrants’ names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
- The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- No permit number required for a game of skill.
