READER PROMOTION FOR

FAIRFIELD CHAMPION, PARRAMATTA SUN, PENRITH CITY STAR

 

1. These conditions of entry relate to ‘DISCOVER YOUR NEW LIFE’ reader competition organised by Foundation for Regional Development Limited 143 Marsh Street, Armidale and Fairfax Community Newspapers ABN 77 000 310 654 of Level 1, 33 Moore Street, Liverpool NSW 2170,
2. By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these conditions of entry.
3. Entry is open to all NSW residents except all employees and the immediate families of Fairfax Community Newspapers and all their associated advertising agencies, who are ineligible to enter.
4. The Competition is for Penrith City Star, Parramatta Sun and Fairfield Champion and commences 4th August 2010 at 0.01 (EST) and concludes on 13^th August 2010 at 17:00 (EST) or with last mail received.
5. Participants must provide the following details on the entry form: their name, address, email and daytime phone number and write in 12 words of less why you want a Country Escape! Entries should be sent to: 1 Worth Street, Chullora, 2190
6. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
7. 1 only prize is available to be won. The winner will receive the following: rail travel from Sydney’s Central, Strathfield or Campbelltown Stations. The reader whose family wins must be able to depart Sydney on a Friday morning on board the XPT at Central, Strathfield or Campbelltown Stations. They will return to Sydney aboard the XPT on Sunday afternoon. If the winning family chooses to use other transport to Goulburn, the rail travel component of the prize is neither transferable nor refundable.
8. The Country Escape includes two nights at the Goulburn Heritage Motel in a family room (breakfast included). Free admission will be provided to the National Trust property Riversdale as well as the Goulburn Roundhouse, a rail heritage centre with locomotives and rolling stock on exhibit. Total prize value is $1,000.00 GST inclusive
9. The Country Escape must be taken before December 2010 (excluding school holidays and public holidays) with dates subject to availability.
10. The winner will be judged at 10.00 (EST) on 20^th August 2010. The selection will take place at FRD – 143 Marsh Street, Armidale. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian. 
11. Entries will be selected by a panel of judges and will be determined on the creativity and wit of words only of their 12 Words or less answer. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
12. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter and may potentially use the entrants’ names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
13. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.
14. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to cancellation of event or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
15. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. No permit number required for a game of skill.
