TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR
A WEEKEND AT TRAVELODGE HOTELS
READER PROMOTION
- These conditions of entry relate to the ‘Travelodge’ Reader Promotion organised by Fairfax Community Newspapers ABN 77 000 310 654 of Level 1, 33 Moore Street, Liverpool NSW 2170.
- By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these conditions of entry.
- Entry is open to all NSW residents except all employees and the immediate families of Fairfax Community Newspapers and all their associated advertising agencies, who are ineligible to enter.
- The Competition commences on 27TH October 2009 at 00:01 and concludes on 2nd November 2009 with last mail received.
- Participants must provide the following details on the back of an envelope: their name, address and newspaper from which they are entering and write in 25 words of less “Why you deserve to WIN!” to be eligible to win. Entries should be sent to: WIN – Travelodge C/- Fairfax Community Newspapers – 1 Worth Street, Chullora 2190
- The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- There are 14 x individual prizes: Prizes and values are as follows: – 14 x winners will each receive 2 night’s accommodation at any Travelodge Hotel across Australia valued at $500 each – Total prize pool value – $7,000.00
- (In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by Travelodge Hotels, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element.
- Prize is not refundable, non- endorsable or non-transferable. Bookings are subject to availability and seasonal embargo periods apply. Travelodge Hotels prize is for two consecutive night’s accommodation for two people and does not include any extra charges (ie, mini-bar, in-house movie, telephone usage, etc). Bookings should be made in advance to avoid disappointment. Additional spending money, meals, insurance, taxes, passports, visas, travel to and from the Travelodge Hotel and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. Unless expressly stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
- Winners will be issued with a Travelodge Hotel Gift Certificate, valid for 6 months from the date of issue which will enable them to book their accommodation at the Travelodge Hotel of choice).
- The winners will be drawn at 10.00 on 4th November 2009. The draw will take place at Fairfax Community Newspapers, 1 Worth Street, Chullora, NSW 2170. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.
- Entries will be selected by a panel of judges and will be determined on the creativity and wit of words only of their 25 Words or less answer. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
- Winners will be notified by mail.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter and may potentially use the entrants’ names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
- The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- No permit number required for a game of skill.
